2002 Labour Day Shenanigans

The Directors of ARGOS-SUCK.COM are pleased to announce that fans attending the Labour Day Classic September 2, 2002 in Hamilton, Ontario will have something to cheer about.

The Directors will be promoting the recent upgrade of their non profit website with a good old fashioned airplane tugging a banner over the stadium which will read:

Commenting on the renewal of their traditional Labour Day Classic Shenanigans, one director stated, The play down on the field this year has been inconsistent at times. But, we plan to rise above it all, literally and figuratively. Our skyward banner high above will simultaneously express and accent that which is being demonstrated by the players below: the Argos Suck.

At the ARGOS-SUCK.COM annual Board meeting, the directors unanimously voted to use their personal funds for this endeavour. A casual observer may wonder why successful middle aged men would hire some guy to drag a banner around a stadium to promote a non profit web site. Well, wonder no more. The sole reason for pulling this stunt is because more people need to know that the Argos Suck!

Argos Suck has become, in recent years, more than a simple truism: it is the glue that binds together Canadian Football fans from every corner of the nation and every walk of life. People from Hamilton, Ottawa and throughout Ontario, citizens of Quebec and those from the Prairies and beyond have all felt the unity wrought by a simple chant of ARGOS SUCK!, and have all at one time or another put aside their regional differences in order to unite against their common enemy in Toronto, the Mordor of Canada.

ARGOS-SUCK.COM is owned and operated by a select Board of Directors, all of whom have roots in suburban Hamilton, Ontario. The Directors are pleased to announce that they are not affiliated with any of the so called fan clubs for the Hamilton Football team, they all have their original teeth, and they do not wear skirts to the games. Their annual general meeting occurs during the third week of November in the City hosting the game for the “Amateur Rugby Football Championship of Canada” (aka the Grey Cup Game).

ARGOS-SUCK.COM is not affiliated with the Hamilton Tiger Cat Football Club, Canadian Football League, Toronto Argonaut Football Club, any of their agents, contractors, lenders, owners, partners or affiliates. Any likeness to a registered trade mark is purely an inference.
